Terms, Security and Privacy

Security

All purchase transactions on Ticket Workshop use 128 bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology. What the hell does this mean? It means that while submitting your sensitive personal information to us (like name, address, and credit card information), the communication between your web browser and our server is encrypted. This prevents any would-be hackers from intercepting and reading this data.

You can tell your connection is secure by the presence of a small lock icon in either the address bar of your browser or in one of the far corners of your browser window. (The icon indicator for a secure site differs amongst web browsers.)

Ordering

Credit card orders are transmitted using a secure, encrypted sever hosted by the good people at Hostasaurus. Your order information will be encrypted and sent through our secure payment gateway (PSiGate), then stored on said secure server. This information will only ever be accessed if there is a problem processing your order, or if extenuating circumstances merit a refund. We will be keeping information - specifically your name and address - as this helps identify you if you are picking up tickets at the door for any event.

Sharing of Information

It's our priority to keep your personal information out of the hands of others. Unless we are forced by a subpoena/court order to provide pertinent information for a specified reason, any information you provide will be guarded with vigilance.

Cookies

Yes, we use them. While cookies have long been the boogy-man of web browsing, our use of them is quite innocuous and is not used to store data about you. They are used by our e-commerce software to take your order information from screen-to-screen, and that, my dear friend, is it.

Mailings

Part of the buying process at Ticket Workshop requires that you are sent a confirmation of purchase via email. You have an option to automatically register for our email list, which will keep you up-to-date with information regarding upcoming shows and pre-sale announcements. Should you wish to find out about shows before they happen, it's advised that you do so. At no point do we wish to be a nuisance, it's up to you to choose to opt-in to our mass mailouts. You may sign-up, unsubscribe or change your email address at anytime via this page.

Sales and Refunds

All ticket sales are final unless an event is cancelled (not postponed!). In the case of cancellation, your credit card transaction will be reversed and you will be credited the cost of the ticket, but not the service charge TicketWorkshop collects. Please take note of age restrictions for shows as well: we will not refund tickets if they have been purchased for a minor when the event is listed as age of majority.

Admission to Events

You should bring proper identification to the event as proof of purchase, along with a copy of your confirmation email (if possible). If you were not the purchaser of the tickets, the confirmation email for the ticket order will be required for admission.
